Become a part of this great program with a day of golf, food, entertainment and friends, all for Aluminum Cans for Burned Children.

FRSTee Charity Golf is a proud sponsor of Aluminum Cans for Burned Children (ACBC), a non-profit aluminum beverage can recycling program founded in 1986 by The Northern Ohio Fire Fighters and the Northeast Ohio Fire Chiefs Association.

ACBC and MetroHealth Medical Center have partnered with pediatric burn survivors with exceptional ongoing physical and emotional healing and recovery. In addition, ACBC provides fire safety education, a winter and summer camp called Camp Phoenix, a scholarship program and a young adult program.

Staffed by Metro Health Medical Center Burn Unit personnel and firefighters from local departments, Camp Phoenix allows burn survivors, ages 5 to 17, to enjoy the experiences of summer and winter camp.

Camp Phoenix allows burn survivors to meet others who have gone through burn recovery’s physical and emotional challenges. Many of the campers who attended Camp Phoenix since its beginning in 1988 are now adults and return to camp as mentors and counselors.
